Our 9-day itinerary has been carefully designed so that you even have time for sightseeing in Pokhara and Kathmandu. If you wish to make any changes in this itinerary then please let us know and we can customize it for you.
Day 1: Arrival and welcome dinner
You will be welcomed by one of our staff members at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. A 45 minutes drive, depending on traffic, will bring you to your accommodation in Kathmandu. In the evening you join us for team introduction and welcome dinner. After food, ouyr adventure guide will talk you through basic things like understanding the Nepali culture, trek preparations, packing list, and show you the trekking route on a map.

Day 2: Drive to Birethanti
Enjoy your complimentary breakfast in the morning and meet your adventure tour guide. Then you are off for a 7-8 hour drive to Birethanti via a tourist bus with nice views. For the rest of the day, you can rest and enjoy riverside teahouse.

Day 3: Trek to Ulleri (1950 m / 6397 ft)
After breakfast in the morning, we will leave Birethanti and make our way towards Hile where we will stop for lucnh. After lunch and some rest, we will get back on the trail heading towards our final climb of the day to Ulleri. It is a beautiful town on a hillside and a perfect place to spend the night.

Day 4: Trek to Ghorepani (2855 m / 9366 ft)
After breakfast, you will start the day with a gradual climb making your way to Nangathanti for delicious lunch. You will be hiking for 2-3 hours before the lunch and another 2-3 hour to Ghorepani. You will have an opportunity to experience Gurung culture, local tradition and to enjoy beautiful sceneries as you hike. Ghorepani is the perfect place to stretch out and get some rest after a long day.

Day 5: Early morning hike to Poonhill and trek to Tadapani (2630 m / 8628 ft)
Next day early in the morning, before the sunrise, you will make a short hike to Poonhill. Once you reach the top, grab a cup of tea and just for wait for the view that you have been waiting for a long time. It's amazing, guarantee you will like it!
Hiking hours: One and half
After the panoramic view of the Himalayas from Poonhill, you will come back to your teahouse for breakfast. Today, the hike starts with a short climb up to the viewpoint called Deurali and after this, it begins to descend through some steep trails. Slow and steady is the key to doing it today. You will have lunch at Banthanti, which is surrounded by beautiful Rhododendron forest. After lunch, you will continue with a downhill section for about half an hour and then start hiking uphill for the last 25 minutes to Tadapani village, a village that is rich in cultural and scenic beauty.

Day 6: Trek to Ghandruk (1950 m / 6397 ft) and drive back to Pokhara
If the weather is clear in the morning, you will be able to see Mt. Annapurna South and the Mt. fishtail in all of their glory. Today is another day of descending. At 9 am, you will begin the hiking on a relatively flat section for about an hour until it starts to descend all the way to down to Ghandruk, a beautiful Gurung village on the hillside. While you are having your lunch here, your jeep should shortly arrive. By now, you have seen and learned a lot about Nepal and have successfully done the Poonhill trek.

Hiking hours: 5 hours Distance: 10 km
After you finish your lunch at Ghandruk, you will hop on a jeep to drive back to Pokhara. You will be driving for 1-2 hours depending on the traffic. Once you get back to Pokhara, it's time to wash off the dirt and enjoy the evening at the beautiful town of Lakeside. We will go for a nice dinner at one of the best restaurants and perhaps a live cultural program.

Day 7: A day in Pokhara
Pokhara is one of the most beautiful cities in Nepal. It has been a favorite vacation destination for foreigners and Nepalis alike. It is famous for its lakes, but it has way more to offer. Pokhara is a perfect place to rest, relax, and enjoy good food at local restaurants and bars- especially after being on a trek. We will go for an easy mountain bike tour around the lake in the morning and a small hike to the Peace Pagoda in the afternoon.
Day 8: Fly back to Kathmandu, debrief, Kathmandu city tour!
Shortly after breakfast, you will pack your bags and get ready to head back to Kathmandu. Once, we have arrived at our hotel in Kathmandu, a staff member will meet with you to talk about your travel experience. In order to improve our customer experiences, we would love to hear your feedback. Once we finish the debrief, we will go for a city tour. We will visit different cultural and historical sites to learn more about Nepal. Afterward, we will take you to a well-known tourist area called Thamel where you can buy souvenirs for your friends and families back home or just explore a bit.
Day 9: Departure
It’s time to say goodbye, or better - see you again! One of our staff members will drop you at the Tribhuwan International Airport 2-3 hours before your scheduled flight time, making sure that you have enough time to check in.
